Astrological
signs originated in Babylonian astrology and was late influenced by Hellenistic
culture. According to them, celestial phenomena relate to human activity on the
principle of "as above, so below", which held to
represent the characteristics of the signs whether positive or negative. Astrology aims to help us focus these energies on the
positive aspects and to gain a better understanding of our positive traits and
deal with the negative ones.
There
are 12 astrological signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio,
Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pieces. Each signs has one of the four
elements. The four zodiac elements are: air, fire, earth, and water and each of
them represent types of energy that acts for each of us. These four elements
represents four unique personality of the 12 astrological signs.
For water signs: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pieces
Water
signs are the emotional and sensitive type of people. They are also very
intuitive and can be mysterious as the ocean. Water signs have great memory and
they love profound conversations and intimacy. They are always here to support
their love ones.
For fire signs: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius
Fire
signs are passionate dynamic, and temperamental. They can get angry quickly,
but they also forgive easily. These are adventurers and are physically strong
and are a source of inspiration for others.
For earth signs: Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn
Earth
signs are the “grounded” people and they are the ones who bring us down to
earth. Conservative and realistic, but they can also be very emotional. They
are practical, loyal and stable and they stick by their people through hard
times.
For air signs: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius
They
are the people who love communications and relationships. They are thinkers,
friendly, intellectual, communicative and analytical people. They love
philosophical discussions, social gatherings and good books. They enjoy giving
advices but they can also be very superficial.
GEMINI
ZODIAC SIGN
Gemini
is the third sign of the zodiac, and those born under this sign will be quick
to tell you all about it. Gemini are the people who were born on May 21- June
20 and belongs to the Air element. Their strengths are being gentle,
affectionate, curious, adaptable (ability to learn quickly), on the other hand,
some of their weaknesses are being nervous, inconsistent, and indecisive. '
Gemini
likes to listen to music, read books and magazines, chat with nearly everyone
and have short trips around the town. Meanwhile, their dislikes are being
alone, confined, having repetitions and routine.
Gemini
have two different type of personality and you will never be sure of whom are
you facing. Gemini can be sociable, communicative and ready for fun, while on
the other hand they can be very serious, thoughtful, restless and even
indecisive. Meaning, they are very moody people so take note of that.This
zodiac sign is ruled by Mercury, which is a planet that represents communication,
writing and teaching others just like Mercury, the messenger of the Roman gods
and goddesses.
Gemini
are extremely independent. They will not be pinned down by anyone or any rules.
They need to experience the world on their own. Change and freedom are
extremely important to Gemini, they will never let anyone dictate them, they
are extremely independent and freedom is essential to their mental well-being.
Gemini
are very interesting and exciting friends. They like to leave their mark on
everyone they meet but they are very flighty and will disappear for a long time
as they meet new friends and explore new places but when they come back, they
will have new thoughts, opinions and interesting things to share. Life is very
interesting and fun with a Gemini friend. They also give advice, what for that they
represent the communication and relationship personality if they are not good
in giving advices to the people the love, right? However, they do not want to
be bog by your emotional problems because that will definitely stress them out.
They are also very generous with their friends, they will spend lots of time
with you and share everything with you.
Even
though Gemini is a social butterfly, they always need time for themselves and
that should be respected.
One downfall
of Gemini’s is that they are superficial. Instead of looking deep into a
person's real qualities, Gemini will judge a person by the way they are
treated. This may lead to wrong impressions about that person. Gemini's can
have feeling of discouragement and moodiness although they never allow this to
be seen by anyone but their closest friends or family. Gemini usually want
everyone to think that they are always happy and doing wonderfully and stress
never affects them.
Gemini
have the ability to react instantly to situations, and as a result, they have a
very nervous temperament. They can be compared to a wound up spring as they
attempt to absorb everything they can about their surroundings at once. The
fact that they enjoy various situations and people add to their nervousness and
that means they are almost constantly wound up. However, if they experience
boredom and have nothing to survey, they get the same emotions, the need for
excitement and variety.
